Current Activities
B&M Northern Division Layout
Our new club layout — the Boston & Maine Northern Division in N scale — is currently under construction. Members are building and contributing sections depicting prototype scenes along this historic New England route.

Current T-Trak Modules
Club members build and display T-Trak N scale modular sections at our annual show and regional events. T-Trak's compact, standardized format makes it easy to combine modules into a larger layout.

PowerHouse Mall Layout
The Club maintains a year-round layout display at the PowerHouse Mall in Lebanon, NH. The public is welcome to stop by and watch the trains run — a great way to discover model railroading.

Former N Scale Layout Project
A semi-permanent N scale layout depicting the Boston & Maine line from White River Junction, VT to Canaan, NH was under construction in the White River Junction firehouse. The layout was barely operational and scenery had not yet been added when the building was sold and converted to a museum. The club had to dismantle the layout while seeking a new home — a setback, but a testament to the club's ambition.

HO Scale Module Refurbishment
An earlier effort to prepare and refurbish the Club's HO scale modular layout sections — cleaning up wiring, repairing scenery, and getting modules show-ready after a period in storage.

Glory Days of the Railroad
A beloved annual celebration of railroad heritage in historic downtown White River Junction, VT — CVMRR members set up the layout and participate in this popular community event each year.

Green Mountain Flyer — Rutland Trip
In March 2000, club members chartered the historic Green Mountain Flyer for a winter excursion from Bellows Falls to Rutland, VT — one of the very few winter passenger runs over the former Rutland Railroad crest since regular service ended in 1953.

Concord 2000 Show
CVMRR joined its “brother club” — the Concord, NH HO modular club — at the September 2000 Concord show, combining modules into a larger layout alongside the Ammonoosuc Valley Railway Association and the Side Tracked Railroad Society.

Dicken’s of a Christmas — Hanover Inn
Each December, CVMRR sets up the modular layout in the Drake Room at the Hanover Inn for the Hanover Christmas tree-lighting weekend — open to the public Friday evening and all day Saturday. The 1999 event featured author Edgar Mead signing his books on Vermont railways.
