Crawford Notch N Scale Layout

The N scale modelers have long been a central part of Club activities. Over several years, members focused their efforts on building an N scale model of the railroad through Crawford Notch in New Hampshire — one of New England's most dramatic mountain railroad routes. The four-piece sectional layout earned recognition at regional shows for its scenery and operation.

The photos below, though from earlier in the layout's development, give a good picture of the scenic work and track plan. More recent updates have added additional scenic detailing. The layout's current status is pending — members are welcome to send photos and updates!

You can also see the layout operating at the NETIM Museum in the building that houses the Amtrak station in White River Junction, Vermont.
