The Vermont Railroad Museum is a non-profit organization, founded in 1980 for the purpose of identifying, collecting, and archiving regional railroading artifacts and memorabilia. Working together with vital local railroad organizations including 494 Restoration Committee, the local chapter of the National Railroad Historical Society, and the Connecticut Valley Model Railroad Club, the Vermont Railroad Museum proposes to plan, fund, and create a "Railroad Campus" in White River Junction.
